Atalléf are flowers that dry out in order to seed. The seed pods are carried by three large air foils after breaking away from the main flower during a strong breeze. The triple air-foil ensures that the air will be captured no matter from what direction and directed over the foil for lift. A small amount of rotation occurs to catch the air just right, but the pod does not typically spin all the way around continuously during its airborne time.
